1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the TANUVAS UG Admissions Online Application Portal (adm.tanuvas.ac.in). Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.

2. Eligibility to Apply

You are eligible to use this portal only if you meet the admission eligibility criteria as specified in the TANUVAS UG Admissions Prospectus 2026–27. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. All applications are subject to verification and approval by the University.

• TN State Candidates: Must have studied and passed 10+2 from Tamil Nadu / schools located in Tamil Nadu.
• NRI Sponsored Candidates: Non-Resident Indians, wards of NRIs, and NRI-sponsored candidates with valid supporting documents.
• Foreign National Candidates: Citizens of foreign countries meeting the prescribed academic requirements.

3. User Responsibilities

By using this portal you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in your application. Any misrepresentation or submission of false documents will result in immediate cancellation of your application and may attract legal action.
• Keep your login credentials (username and password) confidential. You are solely responsible for all activities carried out under your account.
• Not attempt to access another candidate's account or interfere with the portal's functionality.
• Not use the portal for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Ensure your uploaded documents are clear, legible, and in the specified format and size.

4. Online Payment Terms

All payments made through this portal are subject to the following conditions:

• Application fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) for TN State and NRI candidates, and in United States Dollars (US$) for Foreign National candidates.
• Payment must be completed in advance before your application is finalised. TANUVAS reserves the right to change fees at any time.
• Your payment will normally reach the TANUVAS account within two working days.
• TANUVAS is not liable for payment failures arising from incorrect details provided by the applicant, or due to the refusal or decline of payment by the credit/debit card supplier.
• If your card supplier declines payment, TANUVAS is under no obligation to notify you. Please verify with your bank that payment was deducted from your account.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this portal — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of TANUVAS and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this portal without prior written permission from TANUVAS.

6. Limitation of Liability

TANUVAS makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information on this portal. In no event shall TANUVAS be liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising out of:

• Use or inability to use the portal
• Errors or omissions in the information provided
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
• Any other matter relating to the portal

Whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not TANUVAS has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
